Group Exercise Classes

The Rec at The Lakefront™ offers robust fitness programming to appeal to all fitness levels and interests. These classes offer our members an opportunity to make new friends with similar interests and help you create a happier, healthier you! The Group Exercise classes (including Water Exercise) are included with your membership, unless otherwise noted. Our fitness programming for group exercise classes include an energetic and seasoned group of fitness instructors who specialize in a diverse selection of fitness classes including: Yoga, Zumba, Strength Training, Pilates, Cross Training, Cardio and Core, Cycling, Water Aerobics, and Barre.

GroupX Schedule

The March 2025 schedule for GroupX classes at the rec in Studio 2 features Strength & Core, Cross Training, Zumba, Yoga, and Water Aerobics. Enjoy diverse group exercise sessions led by various instructors throughout the week.

Water Exercise Schedule

Discover the March 2025 GroupX water exercise schedule at the rec, featuring water walking, toddler time, and water aerobics. Join us Mondays and Thursdays for refreshing group exercise sessions at specified times to make a splash in your fitness routine!.

All classes are held in Studio 2, except water aerobics. Water Aerobics is held in the lap lanes at The Cove at The Lakefront® located at 417 Lakefront Dr.
Children aged 12-14 years must have active adult supervision to attend. Children under 12 years are not permitted.

Low impact strength and light cardio for aging adults (50 years and over), hosted by the Brenda Button Mills Senior Center.

Stretch, tone, and tighten with isometric movements inspired by ballet.

Functional interval training with bursts of cardio to kick your metabolism into high gear.

Spin bike for a great cardio workout.

Pilates is a type of mind-body exercise.

Old school aerobics with exciting music and muscle-sculpting flair.

Interval-based cardio and strength training.

Combine the muscle-toning and core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility of yoga.

Pure strength, no cardio allowed.

Full body toning with short burst of cardio using weights and equipment.

A cardio-based workout that is easier on your joints.

Increase overall body awareness, flexibility, and balance.

Upbeat choreographed movements on the Step alternating with full body toning.

The March 2025 schedule for Studio 1 at The Rec features GroupX classes like Titan Shape and Personal Training, complete with instructor details for each day. Please note the age restriction for group exercise sessions in Studio 1.
