Note: Often, non-residents will have a Little Elm address even though they do not pay Little Elm taxes.

  • Daily/Guest Pass: A daily pass gives an individual access to all self-directed aspects of the facility and all group exercise classes for the day available within their age limits.
  • Student Membership: This pass is designed for college students to attend The Rec at The Lakefront™ during the summer months. A valid college ID is required to purchase this pass. This pass is valid May 15-August 15 only. This pass is non-transferable to other pass types or people.

Membership dues will be withdrawn directly from your credit/debit card, or your bank account each month with an electronic funds transfer (EFT). Payment is due at the time of purchase. Please note that there is a $10 administrative fee for draft rejections that are 10 days past due.

Annual memberships are paid in full at the time of purchase. These memberships are not automatically renewed at the end of the term.

  • Credit cards, checks, and/or cash are accepted. Checks can be made payable to the Town of Little Elm or The Rec at The Lakefront™.
  • Memberships are transferable.
  • No pro-rate, holiday, or vacation freezes allowed for any reason.
  • No refunds without supervisor or coordinator approval.

The Membership Cancellation Form must be completed seven days prior to expiration date of current memberships. Once the form is submitted, it is reviewed by The Rec at The Lakefront™ staff. For additional questions on cancelling a membership contact 972-731-3277.

Little Elm Town limits determine residency for membership at The Rec at The Lakefront™. Those individuals living outside of Little Elm limits, but whose children attend Little Elm schools, are considered non-residents.

Proof of residency for all members must be shown at the time of registration and before receiving member photo I.D.

Please note that as of January 1, 2021, all new memberships will be sold at the rates and rules listed below. Please note that these rates are only for use of The Rec at The Lakefront™. Policies

  • Youth 7 and younger must have adult supervision at all times.
  • Youth 8 and older may be dropped off to the use the facility as long as they are a member of the Little Elm Recreation Center.
  • Youth 11 and younger may not be in the fitness area.
  • Youth 10 and older may use the basketball court without adult supervision.
  • Youth 12 – 14 may use the Fitness Area with active adult participation.
  • Youth 15 – 17 may use the facility without adult supervision.
  • Youth 12 – 14 may participate in aerobic classes with a participating adult 18 years or older.
  • Children of the opposite gender older than the age of 2 are not permitted in the Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms.
  • Patrons must provide their own locks.
  • Lockers are intended for daily use only.
  • Storing individual items in the lockers overnight is prohibited.
  • Management is not responsible for lost or stolen items left in lockers or locker rooms.
  • Cell phone use is not permitted in locker rooms.
  • No food or drinks are permitted in the locker rooms, with the exception of water bottles.
  • Children seven years and younger must be actively supervised by a parent of guardian at all times.
  • Profanity, innapropriate language, and yelling are not permitted.
  • There is zero tolerance for physical altercations and fighting.
  • No dnking or hanging on the rims or nets.
  • No food is permitted.All drinks should be enclosed in a container with a lid. All trash should be disposed of in trash cans.
  • Proper gym attire is required. Shirts must be worn at all times. Non-marking athletic shoes only.
  • Team and/or organzed practices must be authorized by management.
  • No organized instruction, coaching, or personal training without management authorization is permitted.
  • The Rec at The Lakefront™ is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Lockers are available on the first floor but you must provide your own lock.
  • Basketballs are available to check out at the Front Desk.
  • Please review the Basketball Gym schedule for potential closures.
  • Must be a member of the Little Elm Recreation Center or have purchased a day pass.
  • Open to ages 6 months – 8 years of age. No one under the age of 6 months will be allowed in KidZone without a parent.
  • Children under the age of 8 are not to leave the KidZone until parent picks them up.
  • There is no food or drinks provided to children, please make sure they are fed before.
  • Children who are sick or show signs of illness such as excessive coughing, colored mucous discharge from eyes, fever, rash, or skin discoloration will not be allowed in KidZone.
  • Personal belongings must be left with a parent or placed in a locker.
  • Parents must remain in the building at all times.
  • The following behaviors are unacceptable and may result in the immediate removal of a child for the remainder of the current day and/or further time period: endangering or threatening to endanger the health and safety of others, staff, self, or volunteers; stealing or damaging property; or using profanity, vulgarity, or obscenities.
  • No horseplay.
  • Procedure: Check in or purchase a day pass at the Front Desk. Get KidZone Pass. Present KidZone pass to Room Attendant. Parents must sign child in and out of KidZone if the child is under the age of 10.
  • Stay may not exceed 2 hours per child.
  • A parent or guardian must actively supervise children ages 12-14 at all times.
  • Children 11 years and younger are not permitted on the Fitness Floor.
  • Please rerack weights and sanitize equipment after each use.
  • Personal training, coaching, and organized instruction without management authorization is not permitted.
  • Profanity, inappropriate language, and yelling are prohibited.
  • Amplified sound is not permitted. Headphones are required for all audio devices.
  • Please use all equipment properly. Refrain from slamming weights and sports balls.
  • Proper gym attire and closed-toed shoes are required.
  • No food allowed. All drinks should be enclosed in a container with a lid. All trash should be disposed of in trash cans.
