2024 Mayor’s Fitness Challenge

The Mayor’s Fitness Challenge is a six-week program to engage and encourage Little Elm stakeholders with their wellness journey. Whether individual or family, young or old, The Rec™ is here to help everyone on their journey to being a better version of themselves.

We hope this program can kick-start wellness journeys across Little Elm and show community members the benefits at The Rec at the Lakefront™. From group exercise to a one-of-a-kind fitness floor to personal and small-group training and a brand new workout studio, The Rec™ can help anyone on their journey to wellness.

During the program, participants will be split into teams and work towards earning points by completing various weekly tasks. At the end of each week, we will have individual and team prizes for those with the most points.

The Challenge begins on Saturday, March 16 and runs through Sunday, April 28.

The fee to participate is $30 for individuals or $70 for families. The family rate covers six immediate family members residing in the same household. Family memberships accommodate one or two heads of household, and all dependents must be under 23 years of age.

Those participating in the program will set personal goals for weight loss or fitness and receive weight loss tips, wellness coaching, workout instruction, and nutrition advice. Participants will also receive a 30-minute free personal training session, a T-shirt, and a swag bag.

Registration begins on February 1, online or in person at The Rec at The Lakefront™, 303 Main Street, Little Elm.

After registration, participants are encouraged to participate in the Mayor’s Fitness Challenge Kickoff Week. More information will be available as the program gets closer. You can also register during the Kickoff Week! Stay current and communicate with fellow participants by joining the MFC Facebook group.
